Dear Maizenians,
My name is Geraly Bijsterbosch and I will be the treasurer of Maizena for the coming academic year ’17-’18! As a treasurer my job is to make a budget overview at the beginning of the year, check all our expenses and income, and make sure that everyone pays for the activities. It’s all about the moneyz they say, right?🤑
A bit more about myself. Originally I’m From Heerde a small town in Gelderland, and I came to Nijmegen about 4 years ago. I am a 24 year old, second year BSRM student, and I am also trying to do courses from the clinical masters (GZP). Before I started this master I did my bachelors in Psychology. When I am not at uni, I like to play hockey (women’s 12) at Apeliotes in Nijmegen, go out with friends, snowboarding, watch Netflix and go out for a run! Next to that, I’d love to travel and discover the 🌏!
My love of traveling shows in that I am also the head of the Travel committee of Maizena this year. Last year I was part of this committee too and we organized two fun trips to Berlin and Terschelling! These trips are really nice to join, as they are a good opportunity to meet with your fellow students and to get to know the other students of the RMBS! Most important, probably, is that the trips give you an opportunity to forget the stress from your classes or research for a couple of days.
I’m very excited and looking forward to all the activities and events this year! I hope to meet all of you during the Maizena trips! Please let me or one of the other board members know if you would like to become a member of the awesome travel committee!
