The Research Master’s programme in Behavioural Science at Radboud University Nijmegen confers 120 European Credits (EC) credits during a two-year curriculum. During the first year, you will follow general behavioural science courses, such as Advanced Methods in Behavioural Science, Advanced Statistics in R, Professional Skills for Researchers, and several courses from a list of content courses. In the second year, the focus is on an individual hands-on mentored research project. This project is an empirical study in behavioural science under the supervision of experienced scientists. The training takes place in three stages: writing a research proposal, conducting the research, and writing a MSc thesis in the format of a scientific journal article. The Research Master’s in Behavioural Science was recently awarded the quality label ‘Top Programme’ in the Keuzegids Masters 2019 (Guide to Master’s programmes), which indicates the programme belongs to the very best programmes in Dutch Master’s education, across the entire range of disciplines.
