Confidential Contact Persons (CCPs) are a neutral point of contact where RMBS students can voice concerns, complaints, or reports about unacceptable behaviour (discrimination, sexual harrassment, or bullying).

The CCPs can help you explore possible solutions, but if preferred, they can also just be a reliable listener. The CCPs work independently from the Maizena board, and guarantee strict confidentiality with your concerns.

Do not hesitate to reach out to gijsjanssensteenberg.ccp@gmail.com or sannevanderheijden.ccp@gmail.com if you/someone you know experiences any of the troubles mentioned above. If you’d like to know a bit more about the CCPs, you can get to know them a bit below!

Gijs Janssen Steenberg

Hi all! I’m Gijs, I’m now in the first year of the Research Master! I’m 24 years old, originally from Oss, but I’ve now been living in Nijmegen for more than four and a half years. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports and games. I also really like watching Netflix or reading a good book. For the upcoming time, I will be one of the confidential contact persons of Maizena.

Sanne van der Heijden

Hi all! My name is Sanne and I’m one of Maizena’s CCPs for this year. Currently I’m in the third year of the research master and I’m working on my major research project on the effect of mindfulness training. Alongside finishing my master’s I also work part time as a researcher at IrisZorg, a facility for addiction care and social shelter.
