My name is Hilde, I’m a second-years, and I will be this year’s secretary of the Maizena board!
I am Dutch, raised in Wageningen (northwest from Nijmegen), and I live for 4 years in Nijmegen now.
All my life I have been observing people (OK that sounds creepy), but I guess I’m just really interested in social behavior and group interactions. I’m currently doing my major project on conflict resolution behavior in adolescents in relation to their social status.
Whenever I have a mental breakdown from studying too much, there are some things I might be doing: 1) I might be sitting at the Waal with a beer, a guitar, and a campfire, 2) I might hang out with random strangers in Kronenburgerpark or at the busstation, 3) I might be making weird statistics raps: https://youtu.be/7XkuO_agbKI, 4) you might find me in the climbing hall or at the football field. Or 5) I might watch series in my room… Because. You know. Corona.
I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone, and to make sure that this year is going to be a lot of fun, even in this weird circumstances
