Dear Maizenians,
My name is Robin and I’m normally not that good at writing introductions about myself. However, this is the first introduction that I’m very happy about to write, since it means that I (hopefully) will become the treasurer of Maizena for 2018-2019!! 🙂
So, a little bit about myself. 3 years ago I decided it was time to leave my hometown called Schijndel (if you don’t know where that is, just watch New Kids Turbo, it’s a high ranked movie). While living here, I quickly learned how beautiful Nijmegen is and I hope I can show you some of its beauty as well during one of our many activities for Maizena. After completing my psychology bachelor, I’m now a first year student of our beautiful master which I try to combine with some incomprehensible philosophy courses. When I’m not deciphering weird philosophical texts, I love to go for a forest run (not too long though), ride my motorcycle across Nijmegen’s wild landscapes, read a good book, and cook some semi-fancy dishes for my friends and talk about how much stress we all have for the upcoming deadlines😉
As a treasurer, I will make sure that all of the hard earned cash you spent for Maizena activities will be safe. However, I’m not just there for the money, you can always come to me when you have questions about any other Maizena/RM stuff, or if you just want to chat about university life, discuss a philosophical theory you read, or talk about how awesome motorcycles are.
